Undersea Oversea II is a 4 colour, including one metallic silver or gold layer, silkscreen print that was commissioned as part of a large series of prints for the ocean liner Spirit of Discovery.
The series theme was folklore and tales of the sea.
This print shows Fata Morgana; floating worlds in the sky and undersea. Worlds on both sides of the horizon!
It's a small edition mostly around only 20 of each print.
The print image is 40cm x 90cm. The paper size is 55cm x 100cm. This is the price for an unframed print.
Sarah is a painter, printmaker, illustrator and maker working with narrative themes often inspired by myth, folk tales, circus and burlesque imagery. As a printmaker she is known for her lino and wood cuts but also works in screen printing, mono print and collograph.
