Furrow in Snow is a series of tableware and functional object that named after its kohiki finish. Mizuyo throws the shape on the wheel and applies shinogi (fluted/carved) surface.

Mizuyo uses a variety of techniques for her ceramic work including carving with chisels, which is a popular technique in Japan called Kezuri. She is interested in combining the cultures of English and Japanese to create contemporary ceramic objects.
